At Salem Apparel, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, you can return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
2. Eligible Items for Return

- Unworn, unwashed clothing items
- Items with original tags attached
- Standard catalog products
- Accessories in original packaging
- Defective or damaged items
✗ Non-Returnable Items:
- Custom printed/embroidered items (unless defective)
- Personalized or customized products
- Worn or washed items
- Items without original tags
- Final sale/clearance items
3. How to Return Items

Receive Return Authorization
We'll provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions
Package & Ship
Securely package items with RMA number and ship using our prepaid label (for eligible returns)
Processing
Once received, we'll inspect and process your return within 5-7 business days
4. Return Shipping
- Free Returns: Orders over £200 qualify for free return shipping
- Standard Returns: £5.99 return shipping fee (deducted from refund)
- Defective Items: We cover all return shipping costs for defective products
- Wrong Item Sent: Free return shipping if we sent the wrong item
5. Refund Process
Refund Timeline:
- Processing: 5-7 business days after we receive your return
- Credit Card: 3-5 business days after processing
- PayPal: 1-2 business days after processing
- Bank Transfer: 5-10 business days after processing
6. Exchanges
We're happy to exchange items for a different size or color (subject to availability):
- Same item, different size/color only
- No price difference for exchanges
- Free exchange shipping on orders over £150
- We'll ship the new item once we receive your return
7. Custom/Printed Items
Special Policy for Custom Orders
Custom printed, embroidered, or personalized items can only be returned if:
- The item is defective or damaged
- We made an error in production
- The item doesn't match approved artwork/specifications
8. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery)
- Provide photos of the damage/defect
- We'll arrange immediate replacement or full refund
- No need to return the defective item unless requested
