1. These Terms
1.1 What these terms cover
These Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services supplied by Salem Apparel, whether goods, custom-printed items, or embroidery services.

Before placing an order, please read these Terms carefully. They explain who we are, how we supply products, how contracts are formed or ended, and what to do if there is a problem with your order.
1.3 Business or consumer customers
Your rights may vary depending on whether you are:
- A consumer: an individual purchasing for personal use
- A business customer: purchasing for trade, business, or professional use
1.4 Entire agreement (business customers)
If you are a business customer, these Terms form the entire agreement between us. You confirm that you have not relied on any statement or representation not set out in these Terms.

2.1 Who we are
We are Salem Apparel, a UK-based provider of branded workwear, uniforms, and promotional clothing.

Any reference to "writing" includes email.
3. Our Contract With You
3.1 Order acceptance
Your order is accepted when we confirm your image by email. At this point, a legally binding contract is formed.
3.2 If we cannot accept your order
We may reject an order due to:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or description errors
- Production or supply limitations
- Inability to meet deadlines
If this happens, you will not be charged.
3.3 Order reference
We will provide an order number. Please use this in all communications.
3.4 International orders
We may accept international orders. Any customs duties, import taxes, or fees are the customer's responsibility.
4. Products
4.1 Product variation
Images are for illustration purposes only. Final products may vary slightly in colour, placement, or finish due to screen displays and production processes.
4.2 Packaging
Packaging may vary from images shown online.
4.3 Measurements
Where sizing or measurements are provided, it is your responsibility to ensure accuracy.
5. Changes to Orders
If you wish to amend an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will confirm if changes are possible and inform you of any cost or timing adjustments.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
We reserve the right to refuse any design or artwork that:
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Promotes hate, discrimination, or violence
- Contains explicit sexual content or pornography
- Promotes illegal drugs or criminal activity
- Includes offensive or inappropriate material
We may request amendments before proceeding with production.
7. Artwork & Customisation Policy
7.1 Approval responsibility
You are responsible for approving all artwork proofs before production.
7.2 Delays due to approval
We are not responsible for delays caused by late approval.
7.3 Email responsibility
We are not liable for:
- Incorrect email addresses
- Emails landing in spam/junk folders
- Delays caused by missed communications
7.4 Production adjustments
We may adjust artwork to suit embroidery or printing requirements.
7.5 Artwork quality
You are responsible for supplying high-quality artwork (recommended 300 DPI). Poor-quality artwork may affect final results.
7.6 Production method
We reserve the right to choose the most suitable production method (e.g. embroidery, DTF, vinyl, screen print).
7.7 Placement and colour variation
Minor variations in colour, placement, or finish do not constitute grounds for return or refund.
7.8 Usage rights
By submitting artwork, you grant Salem Apparel permission to use completed products and designs for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed.
8. Delivery
8.1 Delivery costs
Delivery costs are displayed at checkout.
8.2 Customs and duties
Customers are responsible for any international import duties or taxes.
8.3 Delivery timelines
Estimated delivery times are provided during checkout but are not guaranteed.
8.4 Delays outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by external factors (e.g. courier issues, supply chain disruption).
8.5 Failed delivery
If delivery fails, you may be responsible for re-delivery or storage costs.
8.6 Risk and ownership
Goods become your responsibility upon delivery. Ownership transfers once full payment has been received.
9. Cancellation & Consumer Rights
9.1 Your right to cancel
Your cancellation rights depend on whether goods are custom-made or standard items.
9.2 Custom orders
9.3 Cooling-off period
Non-custom goods may be returned within 14 days in line with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
9.4 Exceptions
Returns do not apply to:
- Customised products
- Completed services
- Hygiene-sealed goods once opened
10. Returns & Refunds
If eligible, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of return approval or receipt of goods.
We may deduct costs where:
- Goods have been used or damaged beyond normal inspection
- Custom production has already begun
- Return costs apply
11. Our Right to Cancel
We may cancel orders if:
- Payment is not received
- Required information (including artwork) is not provided
- Delivery cannot be completed due to customer actions
12. Problems With Orders

13. Defective Products (Consumer Rights)
We are legally required to supply goods that match their description, are of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.
If this is not the case, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in line with UK law.
